Whether you are a local, a part-time resident or a visitor to the valley, one thing you must do while in Ojai is visit the Ojai Certified Farmers' Market.
This outdoor market takes place every Sunday from 9:00am to 1:00pm at 300 East Matilija Street. That is right behind the Arcade shopping center in the downtown village area and is within walking or biking distance from most of the hotels and homes in Ojai. "See How They Run" is a "madcap British farce" directed by Richard Camp and playing at The Ojai Art Center Theater Thursdays through Sundays from August 18 through August 28.

Now through September 25, the Ojai Valley Museum has a rather interesting exhibit that you should stop by and see.
They are currently exhibiting 11 unique collections owned by locals that include mid-century souvenir paintings, vintage bicycles, beer steins, movie costumes, insecticide sprayers and more. The museum is open Sundays from 12:00 to 4:00pm and Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Admission is $5.00 for adults, $1.00 for children between the ages of six and eighteen, and free for children under six. The Ojai Valley Museum is a Blue Star Museum, so active-duty servicemembers and their families can visit the museum free until Labor Day.
